Today we took our newly arrived DJI Inspire 2 for its next flight test! We wanted to get an idea of the quality of images from the Zenmuse X5s camera, in a day and night scenario, as well as a real world indication on the flying time the batteries would give.
With clear weather, both turned out great! The night shots came out especially good, capturing more details than we expected.
Our second studio shoot for eqiq for this year, involved an impressive graffiti inspired PVC printed backdrop. Here we are reviewing some of the more critical shots to be used in the main campaign.
Today a new piece of tech has landed! Shortly after the Inspire 2 arrived in the office, we took it straight back out for its first real world flight. We were impressed by the drones stability and failsafe functions, especially guiding it through the difficult and dense mountain setting of Hong Kong.
The weather is holding up nicely, a great day to shoot outdoors! With just the right amount of wind, and a little reorganisation of the surrounding props, we managed to capture some very spontaneous and fun shots.
Our last fashion shoot for the year involved setting up an extended horizontal pole, which we could hang pieces of fabric, serving as the backdrop. It took a lot of moving and fine tuning for the fabric to fill the space cleanly and show as less creases as possible. Spending a little time on details like these during a shoot, definitely helps the final image captured.
Working on the lighting and preparing some test shots, on the Nine West photoshoot. For this set, a lot of contrasting colours was used as a backdrop along with a checkered floor to really fill the space with a retro 80’s kind of vibe. Very simple, yet fun.
